28 Years Later 2025 Film is an upcoming horror film post-apocalyptic, produced and directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland. This is the third in the thrice given title ’28 Days Later’ film series, after 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007). The characters Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes take the stage. This film is important because it returns Boyle, Garland, and cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle to the series, who all worked on the original 28 Days Later film. Cillian Murphy, the star of that film, is also serving as an executive producer.
The film is set to be released in UK and US markets on June 20, 2025, by the distribution agency Sony Pictures Releasing. It was filmed in a back-to-back shoot with its sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple directed by Nia DaCosta, written by Garland, and produced by Boyle and Garland.
